Our company strives to create a workforce for a better tomorrow. This summer, we welcomed 24 interns to work in different departments across our business, where they participated in hands-on projects. Throughout their internship, we have seen fresh ideas implemented, professional development and college students learn about the natural gas industry at locations across our footprint. 

"The natural gas industry is more comprehensive than what you see from the surface. Natural gas is a growing industry that will continue to provide efficient, sustainable and affordable energy to those who use it,” said Kinsley Bean, ONE Gas Communications intern from Oklahoma State University. “I am thankful for my internship with ONE Gas because it allowed me to gain natural gas industry knowledge with no previous experience and learn the functions of a Corporate Communications department.”

Working in the natural gas industry, specifically at ONE Gas has been nothing short of amazing,” expressed Maximillian Kincheloe, ONE Gas Commercial Activities intern from the University of Oklahoma. “I love the stability that it provides. People are always going to need natural gas, and we are proud to make it available to them.” 

“There are a few takeaways I have from my internship in the natural gas industry,” said Madison Rodman, Oklahoma Natural Gas Field Operations intern from Oklahoma State Institute of Technology. "Communication is important to keep our customers safe, learning will happen when you’re eager to help and give 100% in everything you do.”
