As temperatures fall and winter approaches, staying warm is top of mind for most people. Through the Share The Warmth program, you could receive assistance with your heating bill, or you could donate to an Oklahoma family in need.

Share The Warmth is a partnership between Oklahoma Natural Gas and local community agencies that provides energy assistance to those whose immediate financial resources cannot cover their home heating expenses, regardless of the energy source. The program is funded by the generous contributions of Oklahoma Natural Gas customers and the ONE Gas Foundation.

“We understand this past year has been hard on a lot of people financially, and more customers than ever could benefit from assistance,” said Abbey Frye, director of customer service contact centers. “Share The Warmth is a way for our customers to help lessen that burden for their neighbors in need.”

How to Apply for Aid
You can apply for assistance by visiting your nearest Salvation Army location. To be eligible for Share The Warmth assistance, you will need to meet the following requirements:
• You must be the person responsible for paying your home heating expenses.
• You must live in a county served by Oklahoma Natural Gas.
• You must be facing an immediate financial emergency that prevents you from paying your home heating costs.

How to Contribute to Share The Warmth
The Share The Warmth Pledge Program is a convenient way to contribute for customers who participate in the Automatic Bank Draft or Paperless Billing programs, or who pay electronically or by phone. To pledge, you may designate any amount you choose to be added to your natural gas bill each month. You can also make a one-time donation on your monthly natural gas bill. 

If you prefer, you may also contribute by check or money order directly to The Salvation Army. Be sure to indicate that your gift is for the Share The Warmth program.
